The Renewable Energy Cup Charity Yacht Race is an opportunity for the industry and its supporters to get together, meet new people and raise money for a worthy cause.

We have ordered the trophy, booked the venue and arranged the race to start at the Middle Harbour Yacht Club at the Spit, Mosman in Sydney for 12 noon Friday 22nd March 2024.

There is no sailing experience required, and we will work with you and your colleagues to arrange a boat and a skipper for the day. The boats vary in their capacity, but generally 8 is comfortable. It's a great team building or client embracing opportunity.

The race will take us onto the stunning Sydney Harbour and back again. We will finish the day with dinner on the beach, a few well-deserved drinks, musical entertainment and some fun stories to share.

The Middle Harbour Yacht Club will manage the yacht race event. They will also assist entrants by matching participating teams with a boat and skipper. This is included in the event cost. More information about the event cost can be found here.

The organisers cannot predict the weather and in the unfortunate case where the race is called off due to safety concerns (high winds and/or thunderstorms) there will be no refunds, however we will endeavour to arrange a good party in lieu of the race. Further T&Cs available here.
